My name is Lindsey and I am fond of my Jesus, my family, and my friends! Let me explain a little about me in a timeline ;)

August 2008- Left my family and home in Maine for college in KY! Later that month I met the fabulous southern bells with their teased hair and larger than life accessories that would eventually become my soul sisters.

August 2009- Started working at the local gym to pay for school :P and met a man…who always asked me out but I never accepted.
February 2010- Accepted a dinner invitation from that man at the gym…and fell completely in love. His name is Stephen :)
December 2010- Married that hunky Christian man from the gym a day after finals then moved into our cute little ‘starter’ home.
December 2011-GRADUATED from Campbellsville University with a degree in communications. Oh, and graduated early BTW.
September 2012- Big Shock. We’re…PREGNANT and in the process of buying a new home…and I just started a job at my alma mater. Good things always come in ‘threes’. ;)
June 2013- Stephen and I’s life completely changed when the two became three. Welcome Carter Scott. You fill mommy’s life with unspeakable joy.

 

 

 

 

                                                                                                      

 

Hello blogging world! My name is Leah and I'm the "other half" of this wonderful blog.

I am a born and raised Kentucky girl who truly loves this rollercoaster called life. I went to Campbellsville University where I majored in sarcasm and how to write a controversial editorial, hehe. Ok, so even though that really wasn't my major if those were real classes I'm sure I would have aced them! I met my FAB Siamese twin Lindsey in the lunch room at CU and discovered that even though we didn't come out of the same womb we were definitely separated at birth.

I followed the advice Lindsey and I gave for our school newspaper editorial, How To Get A Ring By Spring, and snatched up the love of my life Mr. Matt Franklin. A man of God who can sing, play the guitar and manages to steal my heart every single day! We were hitched May 21, 2011.

After graduating from CU in December 2011 I started work at Shoreline Communications in Columbia, KY where I am still employed today...hopefully tomorrow too! Ha!

Jesus totally rocked our world when he decided that Matt and I should be the parents of our now 1 year old daughter, Emery Isabella. She's just like her momma in way too many ways ;)

I am a follower, leader, wife, mother, daughter, friend, singer, crafter and now blogger! Enjoy the ride!

The stork visited Leah first and 7 Months after Emery was born Carter came along.
